ABOUT MEMBERSHIP
NCEA sees itself as being an inclusive, rather than an exclusive Organization. NCEA Membership can be the first step in the journey to accreditation (Membership, Candidacy, Interim, and then accreditation).
NCEA Membership Will Look After
At each stage of membership, certain norms need to be met and to be fulfilled. There are, in fact, three broad divisions of membership, and each of those divisions has sub-categories within it. On this basis, it is easy and convenient to find a package that will suit your needs.
MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA
It is a condition of membership that all members of NCEA undergo an external review at least once every five years. Before being accepted or
being re-confirmed as a member, an applicant agency must satisfy to the Board that it meets the criteria for membership.
Criteria On For Full Membership
A university and other degree-awarding institution in possession of accreditation by a national accreditation body of the host Partner State shall be admitted to Full Membership status
Criteria for Associate Membership
A constituent college will be admitted as Associate Member.

HOW TO BE A MEMBER
Any individual or organization with an interest in open learning principles and distance education strategies is welcome to join. To apply for membership, submit the membership form. NCEA accepts applications for membership from quality assurance agencies/organizations in the signatory states of the Bologna Declaration that meet the membership criteria.
